400 ex first teamers invited to the last match at the Boleyn
Heard on one of the podcasts a couple of weeks ago that WHU have invited every single living ex player, who played for the first team, back for the final match vs Swansea.

I wonder which of them won't be accepting the invite? Maybe:

Paul ince
Frank lampard Jr
Marco Boogers.

Any others, you cunts?

Yeah, they could do it in decades of players debut. Poor old Frank O'Farrell would be all on his own, having made his in 1948.

Hopefully, common sense will trump egos (Yeah, right!) and only those who can reasonably expect a warm welcome will accept.

The club has done the right thing though as they had no say in past players.

If all 400 turn up we're gonna wish we had, oh, I don't know, a pitch with a running track around it along which they could parade, Olympics opening day stylee.

Only ones from the Avram era debacle who should show their face are Parker and Franco.

Also Carlton, God bless him.

I suspect Allen McKnight would drop his invite and David Kelly would fall over yards away from his seat!!

clearly in true West Ham fashion, we'll blow the entire party budget on getting Savio Nsereko to turn-up.

dicksie, who decides who comes and who doesn't?

A certain poster on here, given the choice, wouldn't want our current club captain to attend the last match, ie it's all about opinions

Most of them were fucking pony...

Can we just not invite the decent ones / players we liked / left on good terms?!...

For instance, Dowie was a pile of shit but I liked him a lot and he's proper West Ham United... I want him there...

Someone like Berkovic - brilliant footballer that he may have been - was a bit of a fucking fist and slagged-off the club and couldn't wait to move... Not really bothered if he came back or not, to be honest...
